The Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) held the 22nd edition of its Employment Fair on September 30 online, where 53 companies offered more than 900 jobs to young people.
The companies were a mix of local firms and multinationals working in ICT, outsourcing services, digital solutions, cybersecurity, AI, and other parts of the digital economy, and the openings suited different specializations and experience levels. More than 8,000 job seekers registered.
The day opened with a keynote, followed by a workshop on common questions about professional development and a panel on the real opportunities in today’s ICT job market. Two more workshops covered interview skills and building a personal brand online through LinkedIn and other platforms.
The fair is part of ITIDA's efforts to connect Egyptian talent with what the labor market needs. Students, graduates, and job seekers were able to explore open positions, see which skills employers want, and talk directly to company recruiters.
