The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology participated in the Egyptian Women's Forum 2026, held on September 28 in Cairo. The forum brought together a distinguished group of female leaders, entrepreneurs, influencers, decision-makers, media representatives, and public figures.

The forum featured discussions and sessions on leadership and women's empowerment, as well as celebrating the success stories of Egyptian women and honoring women who have achieved significant accomplishments in various fields through the Egyptian Women's Awards 2026 ceremony.

During the forum, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology reaffirmed its commitment to women's digital empowerment and digital literacy. It also showcased several programs aimed at training female entrepreneurs in digital marketing tools and artificial intelligence, initiatives promoting the safe and responsible use of technology, and addressing challenges related to bias, privacy, and cybersecurity.

The forum concluded with a statement from the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, highlighting its commitment to women's digital empowerment and digital literacy.  The Ministry of Communications highlighted its efforts in institutional development, which included digital literacy and skills development for approximately 1.4 million citizens and employees, including those in villages covered by the presidential initiative "Decent Life," as well as the "Digital Knowledge Cadres" model. It also noted its capacity-building efforts, implemented through its various sectors and affiliated entities, including the Information Technology Institute (ITI), the National Telecommunications Institute (NTI), the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), and the Digital Egypt Innovation Centers.

The Ministry concluded its participation by emphasizing its mission to ensure women are partners in building the digital economy and the artificial intelligence industry, and in leading its applications, rather than merely beneficiaries or users.
