From animated comedy and imaginary adventures to journeys through history and science, TOD by beIN has something for different ages this October. Whether you’re planning a family movie night or looking for something to keep younger viewers entertained, here are four titles to add to your watchlist this month.
1. GOAT
Genre: Animation / Comedy / Family
Small goat, big dreams. GOAT follows Will, who gets a once-in-a-lifetime shot to join the pros and compete in “roarball”, a high-intensity, full-contact sport dominated by the fastest and fiercest animals in the world.
Caleb McLaughlin voices Will alongside Gabrielle Union, while NBA star Stephen Curry serves as a producer and voices Lenny Williamson, a giraffe and roarball player. The animated sports comedy streams exclusively on TOD by beIN.
2. When I Was Your Age
Genre: Teens / Animation
What if every “when I was your age” story came with a trip back in time? This series follows 10-year-old Paul, who finds himself transported into the childhood of whoever says those familiar words, giving him a first-hand look at what life really was like when they were his age.
Blending time travel with the everyday differences between generations, When I Was Your Age offers a playful take on a phrase almost every child has heard from the adults around them.
3. Science Voyagers
Genre: Teens / Animation
Science Voyagers takes young viewers on a journey through the scientific achievements of the Islamic Golden Age. The Arabic animated series follows Shihab, a schoolboy who has lost interest in his studies, until his talking parrot Fahmi introduces him to a magical watch that can transport them through time.
Their adventures take them from Baghdad’s House of Wisdom to the observatories and gardens of Andalusia, where they encounter pioneering scholars including Al-Khwarizmi, Ibn al-Haytham and Ibn Sina, bringing their discoveries to life through storytelling and animation.
4. Dylan’s Playtime Adventures
Genre: Preschool / Animation
One day Dylan is a doctor, the next he might be a pizza chef, sea captain or astronaut. Dylan’s Playtime Adventures follows the imaginative striped dog and his friends Ozzy, Daisy and Bitsy as everyday play transforms their home in Buttercup Meadow into somewhere entirely new.
Each adventure sees Dylan try his hand at a different role, using imagination and play to discover what it takes to do the job.
