Samsung Electronics Egypt has announced the launch of Galaxy A18 in the Egyptian market, marking its second Galaxy A series smartphone introduction in just one month. The launch reflects Samsung’s strategy to expand its mid-range portfolio and offer a wider selection of smartphones designed to meet the diverse needs and preferences of consumers.
Galaxy A18 features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a 50MP main rear camera, and a 5,000mAh battery supporting 25W fast charging. The device also offers AI-powered features, alongside six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates, bringing together practical innovations and long-term software support for everyday use.

Powered by the G99+ processor, Galaxy A18 is available in multiple memory and storage configurations, including 4GB or 6GB of RAM paired with 128GB of internal storage, as well as an 8GB RAM option with 256GB of internal storage. The device also supports microSD cards of up to 2TB, providing additional flexibility for users looking to expand their storage capacity.
For photography, Galaxy A18 features a triple rear camera system comprising a 50MP main camera with an F1.8 aperture and autofocus, a 5MP camera with an F2.2 aperture, and a 2MP camera with an F2.4 aperture. A 13MP front camera completes the setup, giving users options for capturing photos and everyday moments.
The smartphone is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging, while its 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate provides a smooth viewing experience for browsing content, using applications, and watching videos.
Beyond its display and camera capabilities, Galaxy A18 is designed for extended use, with support for six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates. The continued software support helps keep the device up to date and strengthens its protection over time.
The device also comes with an IP64 rating, Corning®️ Gorilla®️ Glass 3 on the front, and a rear cover made from New GFRP material. Measuring 164.4 × 77.9 × 7.7mm and weighing 196g, Galaxy A18 combines these materials and protective features in a design suited to everyday use.
