Kaspersky and Tuwaiq Academy celebrate first cybersecurity graduates at LEAP 2026 and launch new specialized bootcamp

  • Kaspersky and Tuwaiq Academy are expanding their collaboration to develop cybersecurity talent in Saudi Arabia. Since the launch of their partnership, two Cybersecurity Solutions & Analytics bootcamps have been completed, with 49 participants successfully passing their final assessments and set to graduate during LEAP 2026.

The bootcamps combined theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience in cybersecurity, helping participants develop practical skills relevant to the Kingdom’s growing digital economy and evolving cybersecurity landscape.

Building on this progress, Kaspersky and Tuwaiq Academy are launching a new specialized bootcamp focused on Kaspersky Unified Monitoring and Analysis Platform (KUMA), a Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solution. The course will introduce participants to the architecture and key capabilities of KUMA and demonstrate how to install and configure the solution using practical examples. It will combine theoretical learning with hands-on labs, giving participants practical experience in managing SIEM systems and working with security data from different sources.

Mohamad Hashem, General Manager for Saudi Arabia and Bahrain at Kaspersky, said: “Graduating the first 49 participants is an important milestone for the Kaspersky Academy in Saudi Arabia. It is rewarding to see the knowledge and skills gained through these bootcamps translated into practical cybersecurity capabilities. We are proud to continue this journey with Tuwaiq Academy and expand the program with specialized training that enables Saudi future professionals to build the expertise needed to support the Kingdom’s digital transformation and strengthen its cybersecurity ecosystem.”
