The Arab Organization for Industrialization Signs a Cooperation Protocol with B.TECH to Strengthen Mutual Cooperation

     The Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI), a pioneer in technology-based industries and modern technologies, signed today a cooperation protocol with B.TECH, Egypt's leading consumer electronics retailer and one of the top home appliance distributors, to promote local manufacturing and leverage the expertise of both parties in an effort to provide high-quality products that meet the evolving needs of Egyptian consumers.

     

    The Cooperation Protocol was signed by Eng. Ahmed Mohamed Abdel-Aziz, Chairman of the Electronics factory at AOI, authorized by Major General Eng.

    The three-year-long cooperation protocol ensures the maximum benefit of the capabilities and expertise of both parties to promote local manufacturing to serve the Egyptian consumer by providing high-quality products capitalizing on the Electronics Factory’s abilities and extensive know-how in the field of electronics manufacturing.

    The Electronics Factory owns production lines that manufacture electrical and electronic devices and appliances and it will be in charge of manufacturing and assembling the products of a number of international brands that will be exclusively distributed by B.TECH in the local market capitalizing on the company’s sales and marketing expertise that extends for more than 25 years and more than 150 branches nationwide.

     

    The Electronics Factory will also be responsible for manufacturing the products of B.TECH’s “ULTRA” brand. In return, B.TECH will handle the marketing, selling and distribution of electrical devices and home appliances of the “PLUTO” brand that is fully owned by the Electronics Factory, LED systems, the products manufactured by the factory in collaboration with other private sector entities and the products the factory has the right to distribute. 

     

    Major General Eng. Mokhtar Abdel Latif, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, commented on the signing saying, "The signing of the cooperation protocol with B.TECH comes in line with the State’s directives to strengthen cooperation with the private sector, develop local industries and benefit from the marketing expertise and geographical presence of B.TECH all over Egypt. At AoI, we put achieving development across various industrial and production sectors and building and strengthening national capacities around the world as a top priority.”

     

    On his part, Dr. Mahmoud Khattab, Chairman and CEO of B.TECH, stressed the importance of the protocol saying, "We are proud to cooperate with one of the largest industrial entities in the Egyptian market that is affiliated to The Arab Organization for Industrialization. This cooperation represents a vital step in the company's efforts to develop the industrial sector and enhance local manufacturing to boost the competitiveness of local products, increase the GDP and secure job opportunities to support the national economy and the objectives of Egypt’s Vision 2030.
