As part of its participation as an Official Sponsor of AI Everything MEA – Egypt, WideBot AI announced a media partnership with science content creator Ahmed El-Ghandour to launch a new educational series titled “AQL with Ghandour.”
Announced during the summit, the partnership reflects WideBot AI’s commitment to expanding the impact of artificial intelligence beyond enterprise use cases into broader public understanding. The series will simplify AI concepts and highlight practical applications through accessible, science-driven content.
The collaboration aligns with Ahmed El-Ghandour’s longstanding mission to make advanced technology accessible to Arab audiences, using storytelling to address misconceptions and encourage informed adoption.
The partnership builds on El-Ghandour’s significant digital influence. His educational franchise El Daheeh has surpassed 2.5 billion views across platforms and reaches more than 12 million followers. He has been recognized on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Middle East list, shortlisted for the IBC Young Pioneer Award, and has spoken at global forums including Cannes Lions and the World Government Summit.
WideBot AI sees informed adoption as essential to building a sustainable AI ecosystem, particularly among decision-makers across governments and major enterprises. Through this collaboration, the company aims to foster balanced, knowledge-driven dialogue around artificial intelligence, addressing real questions while avoiding hype or oversimplification.
The initiative also responds to a structural digital gap: Arabic represents only around 0.66% of the web data used to train global AI models. This directly impacts AI performance in Arabic and underscores the need for specialized, culturally contextualized AI systems.
The series with El-Ghandour approaches artificial intelligence as both an intellectual and technological journey, starting from foundational concepts and extending to an understanding of large language models and human-AI interaction, before exploring real-world applications across critical sectors such as healthcare, education, business, finance, and government.
Beyond technical explanations, the episodes examine AI’s societal and ethical implications, the future of work, and the evolving role of human agency in an era of intelligent systems. Delivered in an accessible format, the series aims to strengthen public understanding while fostering informed and critical engagement with AI.
The launch comes amid rapid digital growth across the Middle East and North Africa, where digital advertising reached $6.95 billion in 2024, social media users exceed 228 million, and over 65% of the region’s population is under 30; which creates a dynamic and digitally engaged audience ready for high-quality Arabic educational content.
Commenting on the partnership, Eng. Mohamed Nabil, Co-Founder and CEO of WideBot AI, stated:
